ZONING

A Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial body, appointed by the Board of Supervisors, that meets to discuss and rule upon appeals of a decision by the township’s zoning officer, variance requests, special exception requests, and several other subjects. Brecknock Township’s Zoning Hearing Board (or ZHB) consists of three regular members, an alternate member, and a solicitor. Each of the board members serve for three-year terms.
